Custom Big Brake Kit

This is a fully customizable Wilwood Brake kit with all the options to suit your needs.

Whether you are looking for the perfect street performer, show looks, autocross performance or full speed hard track racing, we can build it for you.

Larger diameter rotors. These intelligently sized rotors offer more braking power, yet are small enough to fit under many 16" wheels including stock.

Less unsprung weight. Stock calipers are over 20 lbs for the pair. The Dynalite calipers are only 2.5 lbs each. Stock rotors are 14 lbs each and the rotors for this kit range from 9.6 lbs down to a scant 5.9 lbs. Not only are the rotors unsprung weight, but they are rotational mass which robs your car of acceleration. Nothing is more fun than acceleration!

Rotor Choices

Model: UL
Straight Vane - 8.9 Lbs.
This is a good all around rotor.
Virtually all the same attributes of the SRP above but without the drill/slotted surface. This rotor would also be good for track days. If you are going to be spending a fair amount of time on the race track, the HD or GT rotor below would perform better.

Basic brake package includes these rotors.

Model: SRP
Drilled - Slotted - Straight Vane - 8.8 Lbs.
This is a good, performance street, show and autocross rotor.
Reasonably lightweight for quick acceleration.
It is not a good idea to use drilled rotors for heavy track racing.

Add $100 to the kit.

Model: HD
Directional Vane - 9.5 Lbs.
This is a stout stable rotor suitable for heavy track use as well as street use.
The Directional vanes draw cooler air from the center and help cool the rotor and caliper.

Add $120 to the kit.

Model: GT
Directional Vane - Slotted - 9.6 Lbs.
For Extreme racing conditions. Unlike race pads, it will work great on the street, but is is heavier than you need for spirited street driving or autocross.

Add $130 to the kit.

Model: ULD-32
Straight Vane - Radically Drilled for weight reduction - 8 Lbs.
This is a good show, street or drag racing rotor when every ounce counts or even autocross
(Solo2 not Solo1 or TimeTrials)   Not recommended for track use.

Add $50 to the kit.

Model: ULS-32
Straight Vane - Scalloped shape really cuts the weight - ONLY 5.9 Lbs.
When you really want to shed the weight and this is rotation mass we are cutting here.
I do not have a lot if info on how well pads hold up to this design. The brake rotors on my mountain bike are shaped like this, but it does not see the heat or force that your car will.

Add $100 to the kit.
